フォーラム（forum）

公開討論会、あるいはそれを行う場所の意味。もともとは古代ローマの公共広場をこう呼んでいたのが由来とされている。パソコン通信の@niftyが提供するサービスの呼称に使われている。@niftyのフォーラムでは、会議室と呼ばれる電子掲示板がカテゴリごとに区分けされており、公開討論をしたり情報を交換したりできる。@niftyのフォーラムは2007年3月で終了した。
